Initial Research Project- The Laurnentian Devide |
The first presentations we did were our "initial research projects". The point was to create short, yet creative and thoughtful presentations on a topic we had no previous exposure to. We were challenged to research heavily and to create a presentation in which the slides had few to no words. My presentation was on the Laurentian Divide- a natural boundary that directs water flow.

Pecha Kucha
The Pecha Kucha is a presentation style created in Japan in 2003. The idea behind the Pecha Kucha is to tell a story. Pecha Kuchas are originally 20 slides that play for 20 seconds, each slide has no words on it and the idea is that the presenter is not relying on the presentation. For time purposes our Pecha Kuchas are 10 slides that play for 15 seconds.
